We seek to accomplish this goal through our Annual Meeting, regional meetings, and publications such as our Journal. Our meetings are open to the public and our publications are available for purchase.

2022 Southeast Meeting Overview
2022 Plenary Speaker: Dr. Benjamin Merkle
Dr. Merkle is the M. O. Owens Chair of New Testament Studies at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he teaches New Testament and Greek and serves as the editor for the Southeastern Theological Review. He is the author or editor of over 30 books, including publications in NT Ecclesiology such as 40 Questions about Elders and Deacons and Why Elders? Dr. Merkle is graciously stepping away from a writing sabbatical to present three lectures on “Authority in Pauline Churches” that will explore Paul’s view of the authority of the congregation, elders, and deacons in the local church.
