Ryan Gimple serves as an Assistant Professor of Christian Studies teaching missions and church-planting courses at Charleston Southern University. Ryan actively seeks to help students connect theology with practice in ministry. He and his wife Cheryl lived in Asia for nineteen years planting churches and sharing the good news of Jesus. Ryan earned an M.A. in Intercultural Studies from Wheaton College in 1996, and successfully defended his dissertation in Applied Theology at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2018.
